Here’s where thankfulness can really become fun. The Bible
instructs us to praise the Almighty with music. Scripture doesn’t even say we
have to be musically gifted. It just says we need to make Him the object of our
worship.
“Give thanks to the Lord with harps, sing to him with stringed
instruments.” (Psalm 33:2, GNT)
Crank up those tunes, and let’s make joyful
noises to the One who is worthy. Here’s a popular song to get us started. Give a
listen to “And All the People Said, ‘Amen,’” by Matt Maher, whose birthday
happens to be November 10th.
“And all the people said, ‘Amen.’ And all the people
said, ‘Amen.’ Give thanks to the Lord for his love never ends. And all the
people said, ‘Amen.’”
