Sing a song of praise to our great God.
I’m pretty sure singing delights the Lord,
especially when it’s all for Him. And, because He created each of us uniquely
and purposefully, I’d say it’s a fair bet He doesn’t even cringe when our
voices go a little sharp of fall a bit flat on certain notes.
I think the Almighty simply smiles and
nods fondly at our best efforts.
Singing and shouting before the Lord isn’t
just getting rowdy. It’s pouring our voices and energies and hearts into
adoring Him.
“Let us come
before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with
psalms.” (Psalm 95:2, NKJV)
La-la-la-la! Who’s loving the Lord with me
today?
