I’m amazed by God … daily.
Our marvelous Maker
is immeasurably magnificent. He is Jehovah, mighty to save. Nothing is beyond
His reach. No problem exceeds His power and mercy.
Yet, God often
works through the seemingly insignificant details of our daily lives. How many
miracles do we miss, simply because we aren’t paying attention?
The Lord who parted
the Red Sea to send His beloved people across to safety may clear impassible
ways for us as well. He may move mountains in our paths.
Or He may have already
done so.
What are
we missing here?
Is God still in the
mighty works business? Can the Holy One still stop mere humans in our tracks
with a single wave of His hand?
How often do we
muse with one another about the good old days, when God stepped into human
lives with signs and wonders? Do we believe anymore?
The Mighty One has
not changed. In fact, Bible prophecies say He’s just getting revved up for some
of the mightiest miracles the world has ever seen.
Step back, and be
amazed! God is alive, active, and about to astonish all creation with His
glory.
Here’s today’s
Bible promise: “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are
possible with God” (Mark 10:27b, NIV).
Oh, how God loves
to transform impossible circumstances into remarkable outcomes. Who’s ready?
