Nourishment
for the Nervous– Bible First-Aid from A to Z
No one is numb to
nervousness. Now and then, we may face unrest, uncertainty, or uneasiness. We
live in a stressful world. Without God, how does anyone do it?
The Bible
urges us not to stress about the details of our lives.
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?(Matthew 6:27, New International Version)
That’s a tall
order. But here’s a pair of promises.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13, New International Version)The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. (Psalm 34:7, New International Version)
Lord, we trust You. Calm our nerves, and help us trust You
more.

ReplyDeleteInstead of letting our stress overwhelm us, we need to breath, think and break things down into manageable pieces. And, don't forget about self-care. Thank you for your post.
