Feeling kicked around and crushed? Rare is the person who has not faced discouragement or defeat at one time or another. Has anyone not felt abused or misused at some point?

We live in a world that has fallen ...and cannot rise by itself. We shoot each other down, and we even attack ourselves. It's easy to feel knocked-down.

 

Here’s a pick-you-up from the Psalms.

Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah.

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

(Psalm 3:1-3, New King James Version)

God is the Victor and our Champion, no matter what today’s bullies may claim.
