15 Scripture memory tips: 6) Sing Bible verse songs

Scripture songs can make Bible memory both musical and simple. Lots of CDs and downloads are available to facilitate the process with catchy tunes.

When my kids were younger, we practiced memorable melodies around the house, learning Bible verses fairly easily by listening to such titles as the Donut Man Bible Songs, Steve Green’s Hide 'Em in Your Heart, and Integrity Music's Scripture Memory Songs.

Countless additional Scripture song choices exist these days - for kids and adults as well.

The repetition caught on. Pretty soon, we could practically sing those Scripture songs in our sleep. Some of our favorites still pop into my head from time to time - usually when I need such messages the most. 

My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,

that I may meditate on your promises.
