Some days seem to send us whirling along on life’s highway –
in more ways than one. This condition may make Bible memory sound like a
daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be.
Lots of believers write or type key verses on little cards
and affix them to their steering wheel hubs or the dashboards of their cars.
Others punch holes into several cards and string them together with jointedbinder rings, ribbons, or pieces of string and hang their Scripture memory collections from gear shifts or dash knobs.
Anyone who practices this tip can review those Bible verses while sitting at
stoplights, waiting for traffic jams to clear, idling to await a passenger’s
entry to the vehicle, or passing a few minutes before an appointment.
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16, NIV)
Hey, that sure beats a few rounds of cell phone solitaire!
What a practical way to redeem the time and drive God’s Word into one’s heart
and mind.
* All verses taken from NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
