Here’s a handy Bible memory strategy that works for lots of
people.
If you’re struggling to remember a particular passage of
Scripture, why not write it on a sticky note or an index card and post it

What about setting your computer, your smart phone, or your tablet - so your current memory verse appears as a graphic screensaver?

Maybe that’s the point of the Old Testament practice of
displaying sections of God’s Word on door frames. Perhaps that’s why the
priests wore certain passages of Scripture on their own garments.
Remember this familiar passage?
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall
love the Lord
your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall
be on your heart. You shall
teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in
your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you
rise. You shall bind them
as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of
your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, ESV).
If we display special Scriptures in prominent spots, will we
not be reminded of their content? Placing
passages of the Bible in key places, where we cannot help but see them and take
notice often during the day is a great way to jump start our Bible memory.
