God answers prayer. Fellow Christians affirm
this message often. Maybe we sometimes recite it unconsciously. But it’s true!
And, if we pay attention, we can find real-life examples of prayers to which
the Lord has responded. Problems are resolved. Worries evaporate. Miracles
happen. And God carries us through the tough times that are allowed to persist.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being
watchful and thankful.” (Colossians 4:2, NIV)
If we are watchful, how many more reasons to
be thankful can we find? And
how might those praise reports make us more devoted to prayer?
