Have you ever felt like an alien or outsider, simply because you wear the name of Christ? It seems to happen more and more, as His coming draws nearer and nearer.
How encouraging
is it to look forward to the day when the Lord will gather all of His own (all
who have trusted in His Name), rescuing us from all dangers and oppositions and
woes? Then we will all begin to praise Him together in one ginormous chorus?
(Hey, we may
even all have perfect pitch!)
“Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the
nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.”
(Psalm 106:47, ESV)
What a day! Can you even imagine it?
