Rosh Hashanah greetings

Rosh Hashanah greetings

"L'Shana Tovah"

That’s Happy New Year in Hebrew, and it’s the phrase of the day today.

This day marks the Jewish Year 5772, celebrated as Rosh Hashanah during the first of Tishri. Biblically, this holy day is known as the Day of Remembrance and even the Day of Judgment.

Rosh Hashanah, to Jews, marks the start of a brand-new year in faith and a time for new beginnings in many areas of life.

The phrase “Rosh Hashanah” may be translated as “head of the year.”

ראש השנה

May we all, whether we be Jews and Gentiles, pray for a peace that endures, the grace of a fresh start in life and divinely inspired love that makes such possibilities even possible.

The Lord's blessing of rest ... on Labor Day and always

The Lord's blessing of rest ... on Labor Day and always

Come unto me,
all ye that labour
and are heavy laden
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy,
and my burden is light.
(Matthew 11:28-30, KJV)

Labor Day blessings all around ... as we find our rest in Him.
